  The UN Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons

has launched the fourth Call for Proposals to provide funding under two sub-programmes: Sub-programme 1 (SB1): Immediate and Essential Direct Assistance for Vulnerable Victims of Trafficking in Persons and Sub-programme 2 (SB2): Medium-Term Direct Assistance for Vulnerable Victims of Trafficking in Persons.

Westerwelle Young Founders Programme

The Westerwelle Young Founders Programme is a fully funded 6-month-long programme for outstanding young entrepreneurs from emerging and developing countries. The programme aims to connect young founders from all over the world with each other and with the Berlin startup scene, and support them in further developing their entrepreneurial skills and their international network.

The Westerwelle Young Founders Programme Spring 2020 will start with the Young Founders Conference from 10th to 14th of March, 2020 in Berlin. During this time, the 25 participants have the unique opportunity to meet and interact with successful entrepreneurs, investors and political decision makers. Throughout the programme, the Young Founders will have the chance to develop their businesses and discuss challenges with a personal mentor as well as with fellow Young Founders in a peer mentoring group. Moreover, Young Founders will receive further support through regular expert webinars that cater to their needs.

Meadow Hall Foundation (MHF) is the non-profit arm of Meadow Hall Group. About the Fellowship Program

Launched in 2005, the Draper Hills Summer Program (DHSF) is a three-week intensive academic training program that is hosted annually at Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law. The program brings together a group of 25 to 30 mid-career practitioners in law, politics, government, private enterprise, civil society, and international development from all regions of the world. This training program provides a unique forum for emerging leaders to connect, exchange experiences, and receive academic training to enrich their knowledge and advance their work.

For three weeks during the summer, fellows participate in academic seminars that expose them to the theory and practice of democracy, development, and the rule of law. Delivered by leading Stanford faculty from the Stanford Law School, the Graduate School of Business, and the departments of economics and political science, these seminars allow emerging leaders to explore new institutional models and frameworks to enhance their ability to promote democratic change in their home countries.

ARCHIPELAGO is a 4-year European programme, funded by the European Union in the framework of the EU Emergency Trust Fund (EUTF) for Africa. Its main objectives are to improve the employability of young people through targeted technical and vocational education and training (TVET) measures and to support the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The programme supports partnership projects in 12 countries in the Sahel and Lake Chad region: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal.

Central European University’s (CEU) School of Public Policy will award two scholarships to applicants from the South Balkans to study in its unique, two-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. The Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Award in Palestine Studies 2020-2021

The Center for Palestine Studies at Columbia University’s Middle East Institute is pleased to announce that the competition for the 2020-2021 Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Post-Doctoral Award is now open. The Humane Studies Fellowship is a non-residency, renewable award of up to $15,000 per year to assist students enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time PhD programs. Siriraj International Fellowship Training in Clinical Pain Management 2020

Regarding our Pain Clinic run a 1-year fellowship program in the subspecialty of the anesthesiologist in Pain Management at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital in the year 2019. We would like to inform you that it will be started on August 1st, 2020 to July 31st, 2021. We want to encourage 1-year training to ensure that trainee has learned and trained skill in managing pain and able to do some of the useful procedures and technique.

We can afford to accept two doctors to attend a fellowship in Pain Management each year; this is not the regular course. The scholarships regularly provide for Southeast Asia countries (ASEAN + Mongolia are the most priorities for this program).

The selected candidates will be provided with tuition fees waived, accommodation, round-trip air ticket those supported by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and World Federations of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA).

We would like to collect all candidates’ document deadlines on December 27th, 2019 and put it through our Board Committee meeting for their consideration every February. Then we will reply to inform the answer to all candidates at the end of March every year.
